The Leef Mudstacle and Family Fun Run will take place Oct. 17 from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Vista Ridge.

The Mudstacle is an obstacle course made up of 3.1 miles of mud and obstacles. The course has different variations of difficulty so everyone can compete at a comfortable level. Also at the event will be a variety of food booths, a kid zone and giveaways from local businesses.

The Leander ISD Educational Excellence Foundation, or LEEF, is an organization dedicated to improving the academic outcomes for LISD students, and the funds gathered from this event will go towards improving programs such as classroom grants, textbook scholarships, AP exam scholarships and more.
