5. Any interesting, random facts you would like to add: I’m from California. I speak Spanish. I’m in DECA. I love math.

Zack Bakir

2. Why did you join the staff? Because I like sports, and I’m OK at writing so I put it together.

3. If your life was a movie, what actor would portray you? A skinny version of Chris Farley

4. What do you plan on doing after graduation? Making money

McKenzie Gwin

1. If you were to eat one snack for the rest of your life it would be? Goldfish crackers or toast with Nutella. Oh, Nutella, how I love thee.

2. Who are you? “I am just a small town girl. Living in a lonely world. I took the midnight train going anywhere…”

3. Why did you join the staff? I’ve been on newspaper since 7th grade. It’s a part of me. It’s what I do. It is me. We are a sentient being. Know what I’m saying?

4. If your life was a movie, what actor would you have to portray you? Vin Diesel. We look so similar. And we both have a love for explosive action movies.

5. Your hobbies include…Drawing, eating, making people laugh. And anything athletic with the exception of anything to do with running, jumping, swimming, catching, throwing, kicking or any other sort of physical activity.

Cynthia Henery

2. Who are you? I’m indescribable

3. When it’s happy hour at Sonic, what is your dream beverage?Diet coke

4. Why did you join the staff? To meet incredible people and to write to my little heart’s content

5. Any interesting, random facts you would like to add: I am a “NCIS”  addict.

Jona Mata

1. If you were to eat one snack for the rest of your life it would be? Ben &  Jerry’s chocolate macadamia. (I can eat a whole gallon in one sitting, I swear)

2.  Why did you join the staff? Because I love writing features.

3. What do you plan on doing after graduation? I’m going to med school.

Any interesting, random facts you would like to add: I love my youth group at church, and I love mission trips, helping other people, all that jazz…I’m from the Philippines; I know how to speak 3 languages. I’m a girl who watches football, baseball, golf and especially basketball. I’m a HUGE Lakers fan.  

Morgan McGrath

1. If you were to eat one snack for the rest of your life it would be? Cheeto Puffs

2. Are you a lemon or a lime person? I’m a lemon; I brighten people’s chilled ice tea.

3. When it’s happy hour at Sonic, what is your dream beverage? I’ve never had a Sonic drink, but I love the M&M Sonic blast.

4. Why did you join the staff? I like taking pictures. It’s cool.

5. What do you plan on doing after graduation? Going to college and publishing a book.

Cole Sawyer

1. If you were to eat one snack for the rest of your life it would be? Chocolate-covered strawberries.

2. Why did you join the staff? I’m pretty good at writing and it seemed like a fun, involved elective.

3. What do you plan on doing after graduation? Hopefully drumming in a band or going into neurology.

4. Any intersting, random facts you would like to add: When it comes to food, I’m a complete “germaphobe.”

3. Why did you join the staff? Because I am deeply in love with McKenzie Gwin.

1. If you were to eat one snack for the rest of your life it would be? Waffles and Nutella or Oreos and peanut butter.

2. Are you a lemon or a lime person? I’m more of a lime person, you know diet coke and lime? Well, I think those are just swell.

3. What’s your favorite childhood TV show ? Oh wow, “Barney.” I definitely watched that until I was like 10. “Rugrats” was pretty cool too.

4. Why did you join the staff? At one point in time I’m pretty sure I wanted to be a journalist.
