Freshman, Senior Perspectives

Freshman: Coyette Twine

Q: How nervous were you about high school?

I was semi-nervous. I was nervous for the seniors because they are big and intimidating at first. I was excited to meet new people though.

Q: Was high school how you expected it to be?

Yeah it was pretty much how I expected. I guess it’s normal.

Q: Do you like middle school or high school better?

High school. I hate middle school, it was stupid and too strict. High school is way better.

Q: How is high school so far?
Short. Shorter than I expected, like the classes go by so fast.

Q: What is it like to have your last first week?

Surreal I would say because you get in the routine and everything, but then you realize that you won’t get another first day and you don’t get to do all the first day stuff like getting your schedule.

Q: Did you think you would be where you are now when you were a freshman?

As a freshman about half way through the year I made Rubies, and I thought I would be there all of high school. It was cool being a leader on Rubies, and it was cool to work up to making Star Steppers. Also handling a job, school and dance, I never thought I could do all three.

Q: What was the hardest part of high school?

Balancing it because you want to be in everything, and to make good grades and to hang out with your friends. I think that is really the hardest part.

Q: Any advice for the freshmen?

My advice would be to take it all in. If there anything you can do to make the most of it, do it. Just do everything and take it all in, as cheesy as that sounds. Soon you will be applying for college.
