This year, Ranger Time is proud to present new and exciting clubs for students, such as Wii Sports Club, Weightlifting and Latin Dance. Aside from those, there are 83 clubs to choose from so there’s something for everybody. Tomorrow is the first day of Ranger Time so keep an eye on on the walls to make sure you go to the right place.
Wii Sports Club
Junior Lia Schexnyder said her favorite Wii sport is baseball, and she tends to win. She’s looking forward to meeting new people and building team spirit. She said she also likes how it will be a break from school. Schexnyder’s favorite game is Mario Kart because “it’s satisfying to beat your friends and be mean.”
Weightlifting
Business teacher Stephan George is sponsoring weightlifting. George has lifted weights for most of his life, and he’s hoping to pass on his knowledge to students. George said he is hoping to have a diverse mix of kids and wants this to be something the students make part of their everyday life and have it become a routine.
Latin Dance
Junior Zach Barbosa joined Latin dance to learn this style of dance. He said he’s excited to meet and dance with other people since it is something he is passionate about. “I like to dance at parties and halftime shows for our school,” Barbosa said.
