Robert Herrings, director of Henry Middle School Band and Darcy Williams, director of the Stiles Middle School Band, brought 7th and 8th graders over for the Friday night football game against Leander High School. The Vista Ridge Band performed a pre-game show and the middle school students joined the high school band for a half time performance. They played four songs in “bleacher block” on the field consisting of “Land of 1000 dances,” “Metal Shop,” “Wiggalo,” and “Stand Jam.” Seventh grader Evan DeKay said, “I had a lot of fun and all of the high schoolers were really nice.”
