Spectaculathon Promises Laughs

The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon is almost here. In just a few hours, the auditorium will come alive with the sounds of laughter. If you love comedy, The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon is not a play to miss. It’s a two-hour mash up of all 209 Brothers Grimm fairy tales.

“I really hope they enjoy it because it’s a comedy; a very goofy fairy tale if you’ve ever heard of Brothers Grimm,” sophomore stage manager Halani Harber said.

Every day for seven weeks, the cast and crew of 70 students have stayed after school for two hours to work on the show.

“It is one big ball of crazy,” Harber said. “Constantly, there is never a dull moment in this show. I really hope that we have a lot of audience participation, and they just come with an open mind.”

The Spectaculathon will premiere Thursday and end on Saturday . All shows start at 7 p.m., and there will be a matinee on Saturday at 2 p.m. Tickets are $5 for students and teachers and $8 for general admission.

Students can get their tickets during all lunches this week or you can visit http://tinyurl.com/lyu6njm to purchase.
