Senior Spotlight: Rhianna Greenwood

What are your plans after high school?

I’m going to BYU Idaho for biology. After BYU I’ll go on to dental school, I’m really looking forward to helping people better their smile.

What are your high school highlights?

Probably sports, like in basketball with team bonding and winning games.

What’s something you’ll always remember?

Early morning basketball practices and football games. I’ll always remember the time everyone threw red powder up in the air.

What advice would you give your freshman self?

Join more clubs, it looks good on applications, and you get to meet people and be more involved. Try more classes and get out of your comfort zone, don’t waste your time in things you aren’t passionate about. Also to study more, studying is more important than sleep and this will determine your future.

If money didn’t matter, what would you do after high school?

I would go to camps to get me ready for my degree and make sure that’s really what I want to do. Shadowing people in the field I’m pursuing would be cool as well.

Is there something you would have done in high school that you didn’t?

I would have joined more sports and not quit the sports I was in. Just being more involved in school overall, going to all the pep rallies and being more supportive.

What do you value in life?

I really value and respect my family, they’ve helped me through experiences they have already gone through.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

I see myself in dental school, I want to focus on my career and myself before I settle down.
