The movie, “Yes Day”,  is about a family’s day, when the parents are not allowed to say no to the children. In the beginning of the parents’ relationship, Allison and Carlos, they always said yes to everything. Once they had their three kids, all their yes’s changed to no’s. During the parent meeting at school, Allison saw how her kids felt about her saying no all the time. When Alison leaves the meeting upset, the guidance counselor approaches her and Carlos about what they can do to change their children’s feelings toward them. As a result,the children are given a day where their parents have to say yes to anything, and they have a huge adventure day with their kids. The main actors are Jenna Ortega, Jennifer Garner, Edgar Ramirez, Julian Lerner and Everly Carganilla. It is currently streaming on Netflix. 

Overall, the movie was very family friendly and a cute story about how a family comes together. “Yes Day”, is a movie to watch with younger kids because there are almost no controversial topics. Throughout the movie, it would get a little boring because it follows the same plot of many family friendly movies. I would recommend watching this movie for younger children or as a background movie, because it is an easy watch.
