Willkommene Freunde!
The exchange students from Germany arrived the Wednesday of spring break after a 12 hour plane ride. From meeting Dirk Nowitzski to seeing “very huge” trucks for the first time, the students liked everything. They adored the weather, the low prices of clothes, the enormity of the school, the easy access to sports grounds, the relaxing atmosphere of the school and most of all, they loved the hospitality they received. The language barrier did not turn out to be a problem, and neither did the cultural differences. The only thing that stood out were the similarities that one found out as they revealed more about themselves, how they love going to Subway, how the girls absolutely love shopping or how some were addicted to sports. Here are they, the german exchange students, or shall we now call them, friends:
