- as soon as possible to get yours. These are for juniors only. Remember this means you can take the SAT free!!
- What do you do with your old cell phones when you upgrade? Well, don’t throw them away! Did you know that over 10 million cell phones a year end up in landfills? This is becoming a serious problem because lead and other heavy metals can leach out of the cell phones. These are not good for the environment–or the humans that live in the environment!!! The Environment Club is sponsoring a used cell phone drive for the rest of the school year. Just bring in your used cell phones (any type) and put them in the green box at the entrance to the library. Help us protect Cedar Park by recycling those phones instead of throwing them away!!
- Applications for 2010/11 PALs are now available in the guidance office. All paperwork is due by Wednesday, April 7th.
- The Guitar Club is meeting today in room 2715 from four to five. New members are always welcome – even if you don’t play guitar. Remember, if you didn’t come to sign up for Battle of the Bands, come this Thursday.
