Because students will be taking AP tests during the school day, everyone in the athletic hall must remain silent for the next two weeks.
“The AP test gives you a college credit if you pass, and exempts you from finals in that class,” senior Logan Laws said. “That’s the main reason I’m taking it.”
The tests cost $60, but most students find this a small price to pay to be exempt from finals and potentially getting college credit.
“I am taking five AP tests,” senior Nathaniel Lane said. “[This] week is going to be crazy.”
There are dozens of AP tests for students ranging from sophomores to seniors. Testing will last until next Friday.
“I’m kind of dreading taking the test because it is really long,” Laws said. “But if I pass, it will all be worth it.”
