On May 21, Poseidon’s Paradise will be held at the Double Tree hotel from 8 p.m. to midnight. Beginning on May 9 – May, 20, tickets will be sold for $40 during all lunches.
So many choices have to be made before the big day: the outfit, transportation, food and the friends that you’ll be going with.
“I’m planning everything right now. I’m already making appointments for my nails and hair, and I’ve already scheduled off work, so now I’m just looking for my dress,” senior Nesha Thompson said.
Expectations are at their highest when it comes to prom. It’s the biggest way to end the school year.
The prom committee has been planning for the event since October.
“It’s going to be a super fun night. There will be an iPad giveaway and some fun games,” prom committee sponsor Meghan Huerta said.
Along with the activities and giveaways, flip book vouchers will be given at the check in counter at a first-come-first-serve basis. These vouchers guarantee one flip book that can be created with friends at the event.
With prom night right around the corner, students across campus are getting excited.
“I have a feeling prom this year is going to be a lot of fun,” Thompson said.
