Austin Sansom might seem normal, but he’s not.
How many students can say they have a working website? Samson doesn’t just run any normal website. He runs Ultimate Otaku.com. Otaku stands for a person of great stature, with high knowledge and skills dealing with anime and video games
“I review any anime, video games ranging from first person shooters to space sims and all types of manga,” Sansom said.
He has reviewed many animes, some of his favorites being, Future Diary and Sora No Otoshimono. Along with covering the Sora No Otoshimono (SNO) anime, he also reviews manga. Sansom does review other mangas, but he is currently focusing on the (currently believed) “ending” of SNO. Along with mangas, animes and other reviews, Sansom also shares his opinion on many games. Evochron Mercenary, Dark Souls and Nitronic Rush are just a few, of his recent, game reviews.
“My family doesn’t watch anime, play video games or read mangas,” Sansom said. “They are still great supporters of my creativity.”
Sansom takes his business very seriously. Sansom makes money off of his website. He has a business deal with Amazon to advertise games of his choosing on his site. When someone clicks the link and buys the game, he earns a profit. Sansom does pull himself away from the computer if only to hang out with friends and play more video games. Sansom — gamer, webber, student, businessman.
