The 32-member Star Stepper dance team is starting the year with senior Julianne Way as its captain.
“We are a family of girls who get together to do our favorite thing, which is dance,” Way said. “I love being able to support and serve fellow Star Steppers and fellow students at Vista Ridge.”
The dance team is performing at all varsity football games and pep rallies. As for upcoming events, the Star Steppers along with other Leander ISD dance teams are performing iDance on Sept. 29 at 1:00 and 7:00 p.m. at the Leander High School PAC.
“Five dance teams are coming together to show what we got,” Way said.
Tickets to iDance are still available for $10. You may purchase your ticket online, from a Star Stepper, or you can visit the dance room.
