Senior Tyler Evans plays soccer and is involved in many clubs, including choir and serving as a class officer.
“Singing is my biggest passion,” Evans said. “I like performing for people and listening to music. I really like country and singer/songwriter music.”
This is Evans’ first year in choir, and she was elected choir officer as well. Along with her extra-curriculars, Evans takes AP classes and is applying to the University of North Texas and Abilene Christian University.
“I’m most looking forward to getting started with my college life, spending one last summer with my friends and family, and making my last high school memories as a senior this year,” Evans said. “I would advise to be careful not to overextend yourself senior year; don’t overload. It’s supposed to be an unstressed, fun transitioning time.”
Evans said class officers serve as mediators between the staff and the student body, discussing what’s going well and what needs to change. She said they are like the voice of the student body.
“I love Vista Ridge,” Evans said. “Once a Ranger, always a Ranger.”
