…Game I played was Warframe
As most teenagers would agree, most free video games are worthless, but every once in a while some companies nail it. Digital Extremes is one of those praised companies. Warframe is the subject of today’s praise. This sci-fi third person shooter is top of its class right now. Warframe’s closed beta was activated Oct. 24, 2012, but it has been a open beta since March 21. Within six months of its closed beta, Warframe has already won “best f2p at pax east 2013.” You play as the Tenno who are an ancient race of warriors preserved in cryo pods until mass war broke out within the universe. The Tenno try to restore peace to the universe by stopping the Grineer, Corpus and Infested from destroying it. The game is full of amazing graphics, clear sound and fast-paced movement most gamers have been craving for a while. Wareframe doesn’t have much of a story, but it does have a literal universe full of missions. Warframe can be played solo or online Co-Op, it’s solely based on the computer but does support a Gamepad port. I highly recommend Warframe, even while its glitchy. 8.5/10
