1. What was your favorite part about being in the musical?

“ Getting to be an evil alien fly trap every night and getting to eat my friends was the best part.”

2. What part did you play and why did you want to be in the musical?

“ Since winter break of junior year I’ve started focusing on technical theater, and not acting as much. But when I was offered the role of as a voice and puppeteer of the plant, I couldn’t say no. Getting to be an evil alien fly trap every night was spectacular. ”

3. What was the rehearsal and performing process like?

“ Rehearsals were stressful because we only had one real month of work time and everyone needed to memorize numerous songs and plenty of lines. Lucky for me, I didn’t have to memorize my lines because the plant costume allowed me to have my script. Shh… Dont tell anyone (<— oops sorry (= ) then every night we would eat as a family, then warm-up together. These times really helped us get out all of our jitters. Then we would perform for approximately 2 hours, then curtain call and it was all over. Curtain call was so relaxing because it was the end of another great Vista Ridge theatre production.”
