Chris Evans once again dons his shield to reprise his role as Captain America. Evan’s is joined by Scarlett Johansson, Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, and Samuel Jackson, Nick Fury, with whom we met in Iron Man and The Avengers. Evans is also joined by some new cast members such as Robert Redford playing Alexander Pierce and Anthony Mackie, who plays Sam Wilson/Falcon.
With what happened in New York over, Steve Rogers struggles to embrace a society that has continued on without him. He must come to terms that everything he once knew and everyone he loved is no longer here. While struggling to accept himself he is also face with problems within S.H.I.E.L.D. as Fury and Pierce continue to keeps secrets from everyone.
The secrets become more and more dangerous as the movie progresses, revealing a ghost from Rogers past, the Winter Soldier. Will Rogers be able to meld his past and present and don the shield again and save the world or will the secrets be his downfall?
The Winter Soldier will keep you in your seats till the very end with its fast pace and great action sequences. It got everything you could need to keep everyone interested. Excellent CGI, in depth plot line, witty comebacks, and just enough of Steve Roger’s big heart to make this movie great.
