After defeating Owen Shaw and gaining their amnesties, the Toretto gang is able to settle down and start fresh in Furious 7. With more than $1 billion in ticket sales, Brian (Paul Walker) becomes a father and Dominic (Vin Diesel) helps Letty (Michelle Rodriguez) become accustomed to their new life. That is, until Owen’s older brother, Deckard Shaw (Jason Statham) seeks revenge on the Toretto family for beating his brother. Now the gang must make one ride for the last time.

The greatest parts of the movie are the street chases and intense fights. The Dodge Challenger Hellcat and the 1996 Dodge RT are so beautiful, expensive and fast that I wish I could drive one. Plus, Director James Wan made the fist fights interesting by combining martial arts, guns, helicopters and even a drone to make the audience go wild.

However, the problem with the fights was that they were so fun and intense that they were clearly fictitious. In one scene, the cars fell from an airplane thousands of feet in the air and landed in one piece without a scratch, which was really ridiculous. Also, the Toretto gang destroys a $3.4 million Lykan HyperSport, and if you know your cars, there are only seven that exist in the world.

The most striking moment is the final showdown between the Toretto gang and Shaw and his goons. There are machine guns, high-tech helicopters, a raging predator drone and crazy car stunts that made me go nuts. But in the end, the big fights are as awesome as they are ludicrous.

After the film, the movie gave tribute to the original Paul Walker, who passed away in an auto accident in November 2013. Although the movie ends with Paul Walker’s passing, I have a weird feeling they’re going to make a sequel, again.

Length of film: 2 hr 20 min

Rating: Pg-13, Kids can watch it, but keep in mind there are some scenes that might be suggestive to the audience.

While the stunts and intense power of the movie makes it feel like its from outer space, I give it a 9/10.
