The Nikon D3500, which came out in September of 2018,  is the most recent, affordable, and best entry level camera at the moment. If you’re looking for an entry level camera, this is the best one. I bought the camera for $499.99 at Costco.

It was a great deal for the quality of this camera. In the set it comes with everything you would ever need to get started, and at a very affordable price compared to some other cameras.

I have used it a couple times, both outside and inside. The camera produces amazing pictures and video quality in both areas. The camera shoots great RAW photos as well, the flash doesn’t produce red eyes, and the different settings allow for the perfect picture.

The way the body is set up is simple and makes it totally accessible for anyone new to the camera industry. It is the best camera at the moment for a beginner in photography. This camera can start off a career or hobby for taking pictures. You can shoot a video at 1920 at 60 frames per second. The only down part is that the camera doesn’t have an external mic import, but the mic embedded into the camera is fairly good.
