Matilda Prado is a sophomore who is thrilled for her first year on The Word. She decided to join News Media to pursue her lifelong love of writing and journalism. In addition to being a part of the staff, she is involved in Student Council, UIL Academics, NAHS, and Rubies. When not writing, Matilda enjoys going to concerts, reading, doing crafts, and hanging out with her friends. She can’t wait to share the many exciting stories, news, and events around the Ridge this year!
