With a guaranteed playoff spot, the seniors are highly enthused for the once in a lifetime opportunity to be the first class to advance to the post season.

The varsity team has gained more wins in this single season than all of the other past seasons combined.

“Being a senior, I want to go out and have the best season ever,” senior Will Enis said “I think that’s the goal of every senior is to just do the best you have ever done and come out on top.”

After coming out at 7-2 with only Rouse left in district, this team is already thinking ahead about the run they can make into the playoffs.

“To be the first team to make it to the playoffs really shows how hard we have worked this year and just how determined and hungry this team really it,” senior defensive end Ashton Davis said.

The coaching staff has worked to make this team a playoff team for a couple years.

“We have been playing decent here in the past few games, but if we are able to pick it up and be the team this staff knows it can be we might just be looking at three rounds deep or maybe even a state game,” offensive coordinator Todd Brown said.
